Kinkaku-ji was used as a house of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu who is the 3rd shogun of Muromachi Bakuhu but after Yoshimitsu passed away, it became a temple according to his will. Kinkaku-ji has burned down many times throughout its history and the present structure was rebuilt is 1955. 【Ginkaku-ji(Temple)】 stay about 45 minutes Ginkaku-ji is a temple located in the Higashiyama mountains and is listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO, just like Kinkaku-ji. It is said that the Ginkaku (Kannon-den), which represents Ginkaku-ji Temple, was planned to be decorated with silver compared to the Kinkaku-ji but it was not done due to lack of funds. Ginkaku-ji is an architectural style that makes moody feel the simple and noble feeling unlike the flashy of Kinkakuji. In addition to the Ginkaku, there are many things to see such as the garden of the oldest in Japan (Dogu-do). 【Kiyomizu-dera(Temple)】 stay about 110 minutes Kiyomizu-dera is one of the most popular temples of Kyoto sightseeing. The cypress stage (terrace) spread out in front of the main hall is the most famous and most beloved place of Kiyomizu-dera There is an old saying that it is jumping from the stage of Kiyomizu-dera meaning of making a firm determination. The water that emerges from the hinterland of Kiyomizu-dera is known to have the power to cure diseases from ancient times, and it became the etymology of Kiyomizu (the temple where clear water rises). ※ Kiyomizu-dera is currently undergoing renovations on the roof of the main hall by 2020, but admission is possible. 09:30 Departure ---&gt 14:30 Arrival 10:30 Departure ---&gt 15:30 Arrival JR Kyoto Station (Karasuma Exit) Kyoto Sightseeing Bus Terminal *The arrival time may vary depending on road conditions.
